About Tai Chi ***
News
The Tai Chi 4 Health School held
a Tai
Chi for Diabetes Teacher Training Workshop at
the Nova Scotia Community College Waterfront Campus.
The instructor was Sifu Guy Prentice from Rochester,
NY and Master Trainer, Linda Arskey from Nottinghamshire,
UK. Sufi Prentice has had lots
of experience working with diabetic students who have
health improvements with using Tai Chi. MT Arskey works
with firemen to help with increasing
their safety in burning buildings. She has found Tai
Chi has been a great adjunct for firemen. A fireman
reported that he could attribute his survival directly
to his Tai Chi training. The Tai Chi 4 Health School
owner, Janice Webber, is extremely happy to be able
to bring this effective means of assisting diabetics
to Nova Scotia. Janice is, no longer, the only teacher
of this medically based Tai Chi form.
