The Sun Style 73 Form of Tai Chi is an extremely gentle one.
It is of great benefit for improving balance, coordination,
general physical fitness including cardiovascular, and strength.
This form of Tai Chi is useful for anyone who is looking
to improve their general health, or has specific concerns
regarding strength, balance, etc.
Tai Chi for Arthritis
Tai Chi for Arthritis, a thirty one movement form derived
from the Sun Style 73 Form, was designed by Dr. Paul Lam
and associates. It is easy to learn, effective and safe.
It increases heart/lung activity, aligns posture, improves
balance and integrates mind and body. This extremely gentle
form of Tai Chi was specifically developed to help people
who have arthritis or other chronic muscular problems. It
is widely used in Australia where it originated and is slowly
becoming known in Canada
Tai Chi for Osteoporosis
Tai Chi for Osteoporosis uses elements from both the Sun
Style 73 Forms and the Yang Style - 24 Posture Simplified
Form. Osteoporosis is a condition where the bones become brittle.
It naturally occurs as we age. Some people get more advancement
of this condition. It is not reversible but Tai Chi has
been found to have up to a 3 times improvement in the bone
density in recent research. The bones become less brittle,
balance and strength improve, and there is less fear of
falling.
Tai Chi for Diabetes
Tai Chi Diabetes uses elements from both the Sun Style 73
Forms and the Yang Style 24 Form.
This is a form that was specifically designed to deal with
the issues facing diabetics.
It can also be used as an introduction to Qi Gong Breathing
and Tai Chi.
